Alphabet Soup

Aunt Shira and Uncle Don gave me an birthday present early. I got busy right away coming up with creative ways to play with my new magnetic letters.

Of course I can spell some words, but what fun is that?

I know! I'll play with the box top. Everyone knows the box is more fun than the toy itself.

Now this is how I spell F-U-N.

Which can also be a two-player game.

Now I'm going to go for a dip in my alphabet soup.

On second thought, being the good eater that I am, I prefer to eat the alphabet soup.

Hugging It Out

Someday I'll have a little brother or sister to play with. But until then, I have my big cousins Ronen and Jadon to entertain me. Can you tell they love me?

Here's a little secret: I love them too.

11.5 Months: I'm Still Here

It's been a few days since my last post. Did you miss me? I had to take a few days off to recuperate from all of my travels last week. But now I'm back!

While I was gone, I turned 11.5 months! And I have teeth #9 and #10, I nod my head "yes," and I can blow kisses!

The Great Outdoors

A few more pics of me loving the sunshine in Virginia.
The morning was pretty cool...

...but it warmed up nicely in the afternoon.

Swing Baby Swing

Nona and Poppy bought a baby swing so I don't even have to leave the house to get my swing on. Weeee!!!

Ten Things You Didn't Know About Me

1. I'm a blueberry monster. Cheese takes a back seat to blueberries these days.

2. I have eight teeth now, and expect my molars soon. More sleepless nights for everyone, yay!

3. This is my expression when someone chases me and says, "I'm gonna get you!"

4. This is my first time riding on a bumble bee.

5. And my first time riding on a lawn mower.

6. I'm going through a bath hating phase. I'm able to tolerate it when there's someone in there with me.

7. I still love looking out windows.

8. I'm good at finding new uses for ordinary things.

9. I'm just like my Poppy. I eat once a day, all day. Seriously.

10. I love hand-me-downs. The wagon was a gift to my Uncle Jude on his first birthday, which makes it 35 years old this month.

Remember Ysabella?

Remember my cousin Ysabella? We haven't seen each other since Christmas, which is way too long to not see my only cousin on my mommy's side. So we're making up for lost time by doing everything together while I'm here in Virginia.

We get together so early in the morning that I'm still in my PJs.

We eat three out of three of our meals together.

We take turns hogging the camera.

We watch Poppy blow bubbles together.

And sometimes we just kind of go about our business and ignore each other together.

Daddy's Girl

Mommy and  are in Virginia for a few days visiting Nona, Poppy, and cousin Ysabella. I hate being separated from Daddy, but luckily we had a great weekend together before my departure.

Morning stroll.
Stopping to smell the flowers.
3 hour nap--not bad, considering I'm the queen of the 30 minute cat nap.

Coffee Shop Girl

It's no wonder I feel so at home at coffee shops. Mommy was pulling espresso shots and steaming milk the whole nine months I was in her belly!

Here's some photos from today's early morning coffee run.

Head full of sweaty curls (I fell asleep on the short walk over.)

Like I said, making myself at home. On the floor.
I do still love looking out windows.
And sharing. I love sharing. Want some?

Sometimes No Means Yes

No means no. Except when it means yes.

I Like Older Boys

Oliver turned the big O-N-E this past weekend. (Happy Birthday Ollie!)

Thanks for inviting me to your party and letting me take the reigns on your new pony.

And thanks for not getting mad when I opened your presents for you.

It seems like just yesterday that I met you in the backyard at the Flying Saucer cafe.

And now you're all grown up, wearing sweater vests and eating cake.

Lucky for you, I can't keep my hands off older boys.
