Love It or Hate It

Of course I'm unpredictable when it comes to baths. I'm unpredictable with just about everything. So either I love the bath, or I scream my whole way through it. Lately, I've been doing a lot of screaming (especially on hair washing nights), but last night Daddy and I invented a game that kept me distracted and giggling through the whole torturous process.

Five Little Monkeys

Five little monkeys jumping on the bed: Charlotte, Isla, Fabiola, me, and one lucky guy, Oliver.

What Are Little Girls Made Of?

What are little girls made of? (Besides sugar, spice, and everything nice, that is.) How about pigtails, babydolls, and (new) strollers.

Panty Raid

Warning: Explicit Material

This is how I keep myself occupied while Mommy is getting dressed.

That's twenty pairs of Mommy's underwear around my neck.

Taking them off without strangling myself is a bit more of a challenge and usually requires some assistance.

New Neighbors

Introducing Josephine (Jojo) and  Isabella (Bella), two new friends from our building. They're 18 and 17 months, so I suspect we have a lot in common. Their parents invited us to a BBQ in our building's courtyard on Sunday--the first of many play dates, I'm sure.

Jojo loved my stacking cups.

Although born three months early, Bella is thriving.
Now that we finished the cheese puffs, we can use this bowl as a hat.
Meat and potatoes? Whose kid am I?

Monkeying Around

I met Auntie Kelley and Gemma for a lunch date last week, but I was too enticed by the massive climbing structures to concentrate on my lunch.

Not only do I love to climb, but I'm completey fearless. Mommy teases me that I'm half monkey.

Don't be fooled. I was too excited to eat.
No assistance needed.

Following the big kids around.

Just hanging out.

This must be what a straight jacket feels like.

Holding hands.

Don't spit on me, Camel.

Saturday Brunch

Grandma Marcia, Nana, and Papa came to Brooklyn to have brunch with us and see the new apartment.

Showing off my puzzling skills.
Exploring the rooftop view with Grandma Marcia.
Four generations.
Overexposed (but still pretty) picture with Mommy.
That face.

Enter At Your Own Risk

We still have our recurring Wednesday playgroup each week. This week was my week to host, but due to conflicting nap schedules, only Oliver and Fabiola were able to make it. Which was probably better anyway, because with the mess we made, it was a serious safety hazard for everyone.

World of Wonder

The great thing about September is that there are free trial classes all over our neighborhood. Today we tried a class at the YMCA called World of Wonder. We read stories, did an art project, and sang a few songs. It's kind of hard for me to sit still and focus on projects, so Mommy signed me up for the Rumble & Tumble class instead. But World of Wonder gave me a taste of what preschool will be like next year.

Such a good student.
XL shirt for an XS girl.
Artist at work.
This is right before I painted my hair pink.
Of course, I was most interested in rearranging the furniture.
But I still managed to produce a masterpiece.

What's A Rosie Anyway?

It doesn't matter if nobody wants to do Ring Around The Rosie with me. I'll hold my own hands  and have just as much fun falling down all by myself.

Night Night

It's been a while since I posted a video, so here's a nice, long one to entertain you.

The Great Outdoors

I have been soooo happy in our new apartment. Not only is there twice as much space to run around inside, but there's outdoor space, which we didn't have at our last place.

This is what I have the pleasure of waking up to every morning.
DogBunny and I roll out of bed and shuffle out to the terrace.
I look so tiny on this big roof deck.
Counting airplanes with Daddy. One flies overhead every 2.5 minutes.
A happy baby eating her snack on the terrace.
Our view of the sunset and 9-11 Towers of Light.

Vacant

We spent a few hours this past weekend getting our old apartment ready for our new tenant. Actually, Mommy and Daddy did some work in the apartment, while I tried to stay out of the way.
