Almost Summer

We've had a few hot ones in this concrete jungle, but there are plenty of ways to cool off. Sometimes we're prepared...

And sometimes not so much.

And other times our best option is to bare it all.

Park Pics

There's a serious shortage of good pictures of me and Aiyana together. So Mommy brought her fancy camera to the park, specifically to get pics of the two of us looking like we love each other. Ollie and Vivienne met us there so we had playmates, and their Mama was there lending an extra pair of hands. We started off with some fun and snacks, just to get us all in a camera-happy mood.

That only kind of worked. I was pretty cooperative, flashing a smile and offering Aiyana hugs. But as we know, she has a mind of her own, and had little interest in posing for pictures with her big sister The closer I got, the more she screamed and squirmed. 

Unfortunately, we only ended up with two decent pictures of us together. 

And a bunch of pictures of us separately, or with our friends.

Oh, and a few adorable pics of Ollie and Vivi too!

Even though the photo shoot wasn't entirely a success, we were still rewarded with a playground visit and lunch with our friends.

Finally, something for Aiyana to smile about.

Baby Fever

Zadia: Mommy, do you have a baby in your belly? (I randomly ask this every few days.)

Mommy: No, sweetheart. Why? Do you want me to have a baby in my belly?

Zadia: Yes. I want a more kids in our house.

Mommy: Really? Would you like that? It would be really loud and crazy, you know.

Zadia: No, it wouldn't. It would be beautiful.
