Camping Do-Over

The last time Mommy and Daddy took me camping I was 16 months old, and they swore they wouldn't do it again for a long time. But it's been two years since that adventure disaster, and surely I must be a better camper now than I was back then. So despite our challenging weekend a few years ago, off we went to Clarence Fahnestock State Park with Aunt Jenny, Uncle Tommy, and little Leda. 

We're happy to report that it went  much, much better this time. So well,in fact, that we didn't want to leave.

Rise, shine, and brush at 6am.

pregnant. Only one of them is now, and it's not Mommy.

My favorite part was toasting marshmallows and star gazing. Too bad I feel asleep before sun down on the second night, resulting in a 6am morning tantrum, during which I screamed for what seemed like hours because I wanted Mommy to make it night again so the stars could re-appear. 

Besides that tantrum (oh, and both me and Aiyana getting car sick just after arriving at the camp site) we had so much fun sleeping under the stars, counting dragonflies, and having fireside chats with best friends. We can't wait to set up camp in Nonney and Papa's backyard in a few weeks!
