We spent our last day in East Hampton at the bay, with shelly sand, seagulls, and calm water.
I'm definitely still a water baby, taking my bucket to the water and filling it over, and over, and over again.
And when I was tired of carrying a bucket of water, I carried around a big stick.
Zadia is more of a sand girl, building castle after castle (even after I purposely
squashed them.)
How's this for a sand castle impression?
And we both enjoyed snacking on the beach.
After the bay, it was back to the house, where Mommy found a few more ways to keep us occupied while Daddy did some housekeeping.
Daddy got a lot done that weekend, and the girls had a good time staying out of Daddy's way. We rewarded ourselves with wine and ice cream at one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants.
East Hampton (and Nana!), we love you. We can't wait to spend more time with you this summer!
Love and sand castles by the bay,
