Thursday, Friday and Saturday were snowy days. Lucky for us, Nona and Poppy stayed ahead of the storm and arrived in Brooklyn before we got hit.
Thursday was the snowiest of the days, but surprisingly,NYC schools weren't canceled. So my friends and I were layered up for our blizzardy walk to and from school.
Mommy got smart while I was in school and bought a flying saucer so I could hitch a ride home.
Then we spent the afternoon making Valentine cookies for our friends, and making Daddy his 2nd annual heart-themed Valentine lunch. It was more like a snack, but it's the thought that counts, right?
Valentine's day itself was spent with some of our favorite people: Nona, Poppy, and Mr Snowman.
And we rounded out the snowy weekend with some rooftop playtime. You really gotta love how we New Yorkers enjoy the snow--on our balconies and rooftops!
Valentines's day was spent just as it should be--filled with little gestures of love, favorite friends and family, and cold hands warm hearts.
Love and snowy Valentines,
Zadia Love
