11 Months: Bittersweet

This has been a big month for Aiyana. She's walking with confidence, has four more teeth coming in (that makes eight), has a few words (Mommy, Daddy, Zadia, and Bye-Bye), and sadly, Aiyana's days of nursing are coming to an end. She's a big girl now, and she wants her independence.

She's proving to be a busy little girl, especially now that she can get around so well. She knows what she wants and enthusiastically (and loudly) asks for it. She's very sensitive so she won't take "No" for an answer without a full pout and lots of tears. She's strong, but cuddly. Determined, but patient. She gives great hugs, waves goodbye, blows kisses, and gives high fives. She's very curious and she's growing up right before our eyes. It's bittersweet for Mommy and Daddy, but mostly sweet.
