This Is What a Successful Nap Day Looks Like

Not only did I take three solid naps today, but I took them in three different places in the same, tiny apartment. I'll bet you didn't even know our tiny apartment had three places to nap?

9:15am: In my bedroom, exhausted from trying to find the perfect hair bow
to match my outfit.

1:30pm: In the living room, pooped after my weekly lunch date with Daddy.

5:30pm: In my crib, fast asleep while in the middle of a peek-a-boo game
with Mr. Sock Monkey.

Sunny Saturdays and Lazy Sundays

After a summer full of jet setting, it was refreshing to spend a whole weekend in my favorite place of all...home, sweet BROOKLYN!

Grandma Marcia came to visit on Saturday and we had a leisurely picnic in the park and took a walk to the pier and playground at the end of my street.

 BRB. i need a mid-day costume change...

(hey! i think i found me feet!)

Sunday was a bit darker and cooler, so I slept in and then got all bundled up for brunch.

The Nicastro in Me

My Mommy thinks i look a little bit like my Auntie Kelley when she was my age (and it's not just because we both like to wear bows in our hair!)

So, maybe i have a little Nicastro in me after all?

5 Month Milestones

In only 5 months I've been on cars, subways, trains, planes, sailboats, and merry-go-rounds. I've been to NY, NJ, MA, VA, and Israel. I swam in pools, the ocean, and the sea. I've learned how to roll, sit, smile, grab, and giggle.

Mommy says my goal for this month is to learn how to like my car seat and my stroller. Baby steps, mommy, baby steps!

Home Is Where the Family Is

Nona and Poppy retired and relocated to Virginia last week. Uncle Cory, Aunt Kacey, and Ysabella already live in VA, and the rest of us went down to help Nona and Poppy settle into their new home.

Me and Ysabella lounging on Popp.

Uncle Jude making sure i don't roll off the table.

After my bath with Auntie Kelley.
What's up with bald men kissing on me? It's Daddy and Uncle Cory, so I guess it's okay.

Nona loves me, she loves me not, she LOVES me!

Uncle Cory and Aunt Kacey's annual 40oz.party is a special occasion, so mommy let Uncle Du share his 40 ounces with me.
Backyard glamour shots with Mommy.

Aunt Kacey didn't get to hold me as much as she usually does because her hands were full with painting Nona and Poppy's bathroom (and holding her own baby, of course.)

First Food

My name is Zadia. Give me something to put in my mouth, please.
I'm not too sure about this green, mushy stuff.
Judging by my face, avocado is not my favorite food.
Even if it tastes good, food is too messy for me!

My (Mommy's) Best Friend's Wedding

We went to Rhinebeck, NY this past weekend for Aunt Jenny and Uncle Tommy's wedding. Here's me on an afternoon sail with the bride and the groom, their friends, and family.

The boat had a cool fish tank with fishes from the Hudson River.

After the sail we all got prettied up for the ceremony. Finally, a reason to where my purple tutu!

The blissful couple.

I made it through dinner, but petered out just before Mommy's cupcakes were served.
