A Week of Tricks and Treats: Part One

The past week was full of festive Fall activities and Halloween tricks and treats. It started last weekend with a backyard, some pumpkins, a lucky ladybug, and a fluffy duckling, named Ysabella.

There It Is!

Mommy always asks, "Zadia, where's your bottom lip?"

In case anyone else is wondering whether I have a bottom lip...THERE IT IS!

Photo Op

I get a funny feeling that sometimes it's all about the photo op. Good thing I'm so cooperative.
Yes, I am standing inside the pumpkin.
I didn't get here all by myself.
Bare legs + Hay stack = Scratchy
Sure, Ysabella and I will pose in our costumes, even though it's not officially Halloween yet.

6 Months+

There are too many fun photos to post just one,
so here is a selection from my 6.5 month photo shoot with Mr. Sock Monkey:

and finally...

Desensitizing Ysabella

I don't think I'm very threatening, but poor Ysabella gets upset every time I make a peep. Uncle Cory thought that repeatedly sitting her in front of me could help her overcome her fears. I guess she's still working on it.

It's okay Ysabella, I cry every time Mommy leaves the room. Or walks away. Or turns her back. We all have our thing, I guess.

L is For Lucky

I'm wearing part of my Halloween costume. Can you guess what I'm going to be?

Home Away From Home

We took the train to VA this past weekend for cousin Ysabella's baptism, to visit the great grandparents who were visiting from upstate NY, and to see how Nona and Poppy were settling into their new house. There was no lack of activity or attention in my new "home away from home."

Uncle Cory was juggling two fussy babies at 8am. Nothing that a jog around the house couldn't fix.
Enjoying the backyard, but unsure about everything else.

Great Grandpa, you have a Zadia on your back!
Go ahead and smooch. I'm just gonna eat this granola bar.

That's not me in a ghost costume, it's Ysabella in her Christening gown.

Swinging with Ysabella and Uncle Jude.
"Please make sure your tray tables are in their upright and locked position." Unless you're on a train, you're sitting on your tray table, and your name is Zadia Love.

This Bow's For You

It seems I've become known as the baby with the bows. When I don't where one, people miss them. So, if you're one of those people, then...

THIS BOW'S FOR YOU!

He Loves Me

He loves me...
He loves me not...
He loves me...
He loves me not...
He loves me?

I'm Not a Toy!

I have so many fun toys, yet (like most babies) I like to play with non-toys the most!

I LOVE the camera strap. That's what you get for
sticking a camera in my face all the time!
I sit at the counter and play with measuring spoons and
silicone bowls while Mommy bakes cookies.
Just brushing up on my child psychology.
Playing with flowers, ribbons, and bows never gets old.

Future Foodie

My first taste of avocado may not have been so successful, but I've come a long way since then. I like everything I've been offered, even little tastes of sour pickles and tart frozen yogurt.

THAT WAS THEN...

THIS IS NOW...

New Stroller

Thanks for the early Hanukkah present Nana and Papa!

Mommy and Me

This was supposed to be a play date, but it was more like a slumber party for me.
