My baby sister, Aiyana Eden was JUST born, and she's only SIX pounds! I can't wait to meet her!

Zadia and the Gang

The past few days have been full of fun Halloween festivities, and it's not even officially Halloween yet! On Thursday Alec and his baby brother, Evan (whom I adore) hosted us at their house for our weekly playgroup. The whole gang was there in full costume.

Chef or Sailor?
Sailor!
Prim and proper.
Practicing my baby-holding skills with baby Evan.
The whole gang.

And today, at 38 weeks pregnant, my crazy Mommy hosted all the kids and their parents for a Halloween brunch at our apartment.

Oliver, the blue-eyed monkey.
Zadia, the hungry sailor girl.
Isla, the adorned cat.
Charlotte, the incognito Pooh bear.
Fabiola, the ruffled flamenco dancer.
Alec, the smiley scarecrow.

After brunch we went to the neighborhood Halloween parade. As predicted, most of the babies fell asleep on the way over and continued to sleep through the whole parade.

But I woke up just in time to get in some quality park time.

Entertained By Zadia

This is my favorite song EVER! It goes a little something like this: Taxi, Taxi, riding in the back seat. Roll the windows up, roll the windows down..."

And here I am repeating my favorite non-sensical word:

Elodie's House

My friend Elodie was born about a week before me, and in the same hospital. But her Mommy and Daddy both work and Elodie is in daycare, so I don't get to see her as often as I'd like to. We managed to find time for a play date last weekend and realized we have a lot in common: an appreciation for art, an addiction to cell phones, and matching snack cups.

Rooftop Pumpkin Carving

Grandma Marcia came to visit this past weekend and we spent the sunny afternoon on the roof carving pumpkins. You wouldn't guess from these pictures, but I didn't really like touching the pumpkin guts very much. But I definitely liked separating the seeds, one by one, with my knife (don't worry, it's just a toy.)

More Cousins To Love

Uncle Cory and Aunt Kacey had their baby and he's a boy--Anthony Francis, born on Saturday, October 22. I guess that means Mommy's next (it could be any day now, really.)
Congratulations! I can't wait to meet my new cousin!

Good Park Day, Bad Hair Day

Last Sunday was a perfect, Fall day, so we spent a little time in Prospect Park. My hair didn't fare well in the autumn breeze, but I loved being in the open grass with Mommy and Daddy.

Climbing Like A Pro

I may be a mere 18 months old, but I climb like an old pro.

What I'm Into These Days

I'm turning into such a little person, and yes, I'm still all girl. I'm into the color pink, bags, and dressing up.

And I'm into dolls (and DogBunnies) and pretend play.

Typical girl.

In The Hood

It was nice to be away last weekend, and I'm sure it'll be a while before we have an opportunity to get away again. But it's always nice to return home to our hood.

It was a beautiful fall weekend in Brooklyn, and I loved gallivanting around the neighborhood with Mommy and Daddy, having brunch with Uncle Jude, and going to the park on a crisp, sunny day. And I especially enjoyed hanging out on our balcony Saturday night while Daddy grilled up some burgers.

And have I mentioned how affectionate I am lately? Very.
